Description
Airplane pilots must universally exercise caution in the vicinity of golfers. The statistics regarding golf-related airplane deaths are quite shocking.
Nixy had the wisdom to mention it, but it was too late. The proper cautionary measures were not taken, and all they could do was sit and stare, dumb-founded, as it happened.
They would be more careful next time, to be sure.

Now safe in the airplane, Timby & Nixy look for a place to land.

Me, AJJB, and my cousin laughed and laughed over this. He saw them in sequence, whereas I saw them when they came out but it's still hilarious!
the art is fantastic. It must have taken quite a while for these comics. Did you think of them all at once or did you think of the "sequels" later on?

Yes, I'd love to see the statistics. I may never want to fly in an airplane over a golf course again. Not that I ever have, mind you.
I don't think the golfer's pants are that bad.
We should take our comfort from God's word, not from the circumstances of our lives.
