That's Awesome! Truly brilliant Quartz, brilliant, horrifying, amazingly well done too!
It looks to me like the artist was expressing the chaos of life in the dark shades of the objects as well as their expressive twisting motions, but that there is an overlying calm shown in the vibrant blues and yellows of the background. I think I'm gonna do well on my art history final ^.^
