Obstacles! What's up with those?! You’re just walking along, and suddenly wham! Obstacle. Yup. You know what I'm talking about. Soon, Monkey will know too. Watch and enjoy!
I love this! Of course there are a lot of individually funny things here. But let's not think about that for a second. Instead, let's think about the episode as a whole.
Now, it might be due to the fact that I'm still working on publishing this little guy at 1AM the morning it's supposed to be released, but this episode just makes sense to me as a unit. Maybe we're hitting our stride! Maybe we've found a groove! On the other hand, maybe I've just entered an altered state of consciousness thanks to chronic sleep deprivation.
I am quite excited by the animated segment for this week's episode! I don't think I realized quite how funny it was until it was finally finished. It has a warm, fuzzy “classic cartoon” feel to it, with a heavy dose of the Markley Bros. of course.
You might have noticed already, but we're huge fans of classic Doctor Who over here. This tends to work itself out in a number of bizarre ways, including this episode's grand finale. If you can't tell, that's definitely Gabriel throwing himself into his work.
I'll leave it to you to guess how he survived.

Throwing himself into his work
It's a very good thing that I had been warned ahead of time about Gabe leaping out the window. I loved the doctor who bit anyway, and the graceful leap did remind me of Tom Baker.
I loved the bit where Susie got kidnapped. She looks so cute and helpless... and her rescuer looks like he's trying so hard.
I'm gonna make "Poor Peter!" my sig now since I end up saying it every time I comment anyway.
I'd rather waltz than just walk through the forest- Owl City
Amazing!
This is so exciting!!! Awesome job, Alex! Amazing dedication, Gabe. And Peter! Fantastic animation! *1000 thumbs up for y'all!

Well… The sound effects are stunning, Alex. Stunning and horrifying in parts. I like it. ^__^
God answers my prayers. He lifts me up. He gives me my breaths and refills my cup.
A new use for podiums.
Who can resist a leader who can drum that well?
Yup, there's my scarf. Gabe going out that window is beautiful, so graceful. That clip turned out really really well. Tom Baker should be proud. ... Actually, I think in that clip, Gabriel is demonstrating what Monkey has yet to learn.
Everything looks perfect from far away.
Eluvian Constables
I like how the clock on the desk gives real-life stats at the time we filmed...
BTW, for our Facebook fans, the Eluvian House Centipede was definitely inspired by Sid from my photo album.

Niiiice....
NICE beat, Malex!! That was epic. My favorite part.
Also...no one got tackled!!

Gabe had better be careful. If he keeps digressing like that, he could end up hurt.
And the poor little barista wench. I fear to know her eventual fate. At the beginning of the next segment when I first saw Alex trudging in the snow, I thought it might be her finding her way back home. Poor little barista.
The monkey ( ? ) reminds me of a mailman I used to know of. And that animation is really good.
My favorite segment is the Dr. Who spoof. Susie is amazing as the companion, and Gabe is equally amazing as the Dr. His leap is the absolute topper, though. Awesome!

...
I did not enjoy the scene where Susie was abducted. Other than that, it was pretty good. I really liked how graceful Gabe was jumping out of the window.

Sympathy
I can relate, Hatter. I go through difficulties every time I watch one of these guys smash their face against a table, get tormented by someone, or jump out a window. My heart goes out to you. Rest assured however, that none of these guys would ever allow any harm to come to Susie. She survived and went on to lead a fairly normal life.
But you're so sweet to be concerned. And I hope the scene didn't cause you too much distress.
