Falling is easy; it's the landing that usually hurts.
We have high hopes that you will find this video amusing. It provides a rare glimpse – a window, even – into an unusual process.
See, we have been practicing comedy for a long time, but our work has traditionally been of a largely stationary, dialog-oriented variety. We have never before done visual comedy of any kind.
Of course, people nowadays prefer to see things instead of hearing them. (Or, God forbid, reading.) So the jump to visual comedy always seemed like the next logical step. But as we started talking about actually making the jump into visual comedy, I became keenly aware that we had essentially no experience with its basic building blocks.
And that would never do.
So we started actually practicing: Taking falls, making faces, doing silly walks, and anything else we could think of to do.
The terrifying results are hereby presented, in part, for your amusement. As stated, we have high hopes in that regard.

Whoa
It looks like whoever hit you on the head might've almost killed you
I'd rather waltz than just walk through the forest- Owl City
Impressed
Officially impressed. I had no idea you could do a sitting front flip. Of course, it helps that there's more space in your apartment than there is here at home. If you did that in our living room you most certainly hit something other than the floor. By the way, invisible attackers FTW.
Everything looks perfect from far away.
Wow!
In the words of the Scout from TF2:
Boink!
and also:
Ya head's a freakin' bat magnet!
But violent New Yorkers aside, that was incredibly funny! When you said you'd never done any visual comedy before, I expected it to also look like you'd never done any visual comedy before. That, however, was fantastic. Great job!

Thanks, everybody! I had hoped that it would appear impressive on screen. At least half as impressive as it felt...

I just thought of something. You should have those little icons at the bottom of all of your posts and media for Twitter, Digg, Facebook, etc. I thought of that because I'm tweeting this right now...

LOL!
Your wording is very funny.
I think it's a good way to help get the word out and drive people in. Kinda the way zombie infestations work, you know? One person is like, "Look what I've got!" and then everyone else wants one too, and then they flaunt it in front of their friends.
Pretty soon, everyone is a zombie/using given website!

Done!
You will now find a little widget at the bottom of every page. That widget is called “Share this!” and it is designed to make it really easy to share your favorite Markley Bros. shenanigans with your several hundred closest friends.
I agree 100%! Adding social networking links to the site was always the plan. (In fact, I was able to respond so quickly because I was working on it yesterday.)
At this point, or else very soon, I am going to start begging people to start spreading the word about Markley Bros. Entertainment. Nowadays – with tools like “Share this!” – spreading the word has never been easier.
Thanks!

Cool!
That's funny! Well, I'm glad I could be redundant with you!
Expect to see a lot of @markleybros Twitter activity!
Edit: I actually looked at it just now... Wowzers! It looks good! (Unlike on a lot of other sites.) Fantastic!

Yeah, actually, I have. I'm definitely not as fit as I'd like to be, but I'm getting there.

The neighbors
Alex, are there people living below you who might be inclined to call 911 when they hear you hit the floor like that?
I'm very proud of you, but I can't help worrying a little bit, too. Please don't break your neck, okay?
We should take our comfort from God's word, not from the circumstances of our lives.
:)
I'll do my best.
